Who builds this
Vector Asset Analytics is led by Jamie Ballentyne and based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The work is systems and infrastructure focused: building tools that keep authoritative records under Nation authority and reduce the administrative cost of reconciliation, reporting, and audit readiness.
The emphasis is on operational reality rather than abstract platforms. The goal is infrastructure that a Band Manager, Finance Director, or technical lead can evaluate against the workflows they already run.

Why this work exists
Many Nations still carry the cost of fragmented records: hours spent chasing files, reconciling versions, and reconstructing history for audits and federal requests. Policy statements about data sovereignty are necessary; they are not sufficient on their own.
Sovereign Ledger 2.0 is built as practical infrastructure — a system of record that keeps data under Nation control, makes material changes tamper-evident, and reduces the administrative burden of the work administrations already do. It is not a generic cloud product and not a demonstration of blockchain concepts. It is designed to be evaluated against real workflows.
